Brian T. Spink is currently the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Commander's Representative to the 8th AF/AFCyber Command (P) supporting the A8 Requirements Directorate of AFCYBER (P), Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Mr. Spink is a graduate from Clarkson University and Syracuse University, with a BS and MS in Electrical Computer Engineering, respectively. Prior to his current assignment, he was a Senior Electronic Engineer working in the Cyber Operations and Distributed Computing Branches of the Air Force Research Laboratory, in Rome, New York. In his role at AFRL he was responsible for the Firestarter Program, funding programs to transition Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense Research and Technology from the Laboratory to the Operational Air Force Commands.
