Ken Rogers currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the Science & Technology Directorate within the Department of Homeland Security, which includes oversight for a diversified $75M IT portfolio associated with $900M research and development organization. Ken has over 25 years of experience working with multinationals, US & foreign government agencies, non-profit organizations, and small business start-ups. He has managed projects in Asia, Africa, the America’s, and Central & Eastern Europe.
Ken’s public sector career includes serving as the eCommerce Strategist at the US Export Import Bank, overseeing IT Strategic Planning at the US Department of Commerce Bureau of Economic Analysis and various positions at the Department of Homeland Security. He holds a BA in Economics from Westmont College and advanced degrees in Information Systems from George Washington University, International Management from the University of Maryland, Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and Graduate Certificates of Advanced Study in International Political Economy and Asian Studies. Ken is also an adjunct professor and serves on the board of Ambleside K-8th School in Herndon VA. Ken and his wife Pam live in Vienna, Va with their four children. |
